Josie's Table Summer Menu

Ahhh Josie’s Table. A refreshing, yet comforting culinary experience. To dine here is a treat with fresh food, great drinks, and a great atmosphere. In my multiple visits to Josie’s Table two things have remained consistent, great food and great service. This stayed true for their Summer Menu experience. Although most of the items on the menu remain, cocktails and select items do rotate, though. Our meal started with a quick check in at the maitre d stand, he expediently brought us to our table where our waitress was waiting with water. Although I did not partake in any libations on this fine evening, my partner did. Though small, their liquor selection offers a unique flair. Usually, I indulge myself in a cocktail or two when visiting Josie’s, however, I’m taking an end of summer sabbatical on alcohol after a long, bloated August. One warning, they do make their cocktails very strong so prepare the drive to have only one. Not that this is a bad thing, though, you definitely get your money’s worth. All cocktails are priced at $15, which seems fair for an expertly mixed, tasty beverage. Once seated we perused the menu. Although this was our 4th visit, there is always something new to enjoy. We started with the Baked Pimento Cheese, a tradition we have. This app is so delightful. I would run a mile on burning coals if this was the treat at the end. As always, this was divine and a great way to start the evening. For our main course I had the burger while my partner dined on the scallop pasta. Much like the whole experience these dishes were satisfying, luxurious, and hit high above their cost. Seriously, for what you pay you truly get your money's worth, if not more. As much as I could gush about the experience I will leave you, dear reader, with this: Josie’s Table is worth every penny. Seriously, please go and experience it for yourself. It somehow manages to feel like a high end experience while costing the same as a dinner at an Applebees or Chili’s. Truly a delight. 10/10 rating.
